Haneda new control tower starts operation
TOKYO, Japan - Airplanes taxi near a new flight control tower (C) which began operation at Tokyo's Haneda airport Jan. 12, 2010, beside the building (R) which houses the old one. The 115.7-meter-high tower is the world's third tallest of its kind and tops the 87.3-m tower at Narita airport, east Tokyo. (Kyodo)
