KOBE, Japan - A man shows boxes of used abacuses, called ''soroban'' in Japanese, collected from areas of Japan in Ono, Hyogo Prefecture, on Dec. 6, 2010. The city plans to donate the abacuses to Tonga to help arithmetic education. (Kyodo)
