IOC adds Korean name to Berlin gold medalist
TOKYO, Japan - File photo shows Son Kitei (C) at the medal ceremony after winning gold in the marathon at the 1936 Berlin Olympics. The International Olympic Committee has added his Korean name, Sohn Kee-chung, to its website. He had been listed as Japanese when he won the medal as the Korean Peninsula was under Japanese colonial rule at the time. (Kyodo)
