Japanese golfer Sugihara dies at 74
TOKYO, Japan - Japanese golfer Teruo Sugihara tees off in a round at Chiba Country Club in Chiba Prefecture in September 1962 on his way to capture his first career title at the Japan Open. Sugihara, with a professional career lasting more than 50 years, died of prostate cancer on Dec. 28, 2011, at the age of 74. (Kyodo)
