Toy poodles authorized as police dogs
TOTTORI, Japan - Toy poodles Karin (L) and Fuga attend an induction ceremony on Dec. 2, 2011, at the Tottori prefectural police headquarters in the city of Tottori, western Japan, to work as police dogs. The dogs are to be employed in duties including criminal investigations and search operations for a year from January 2012. (Kyodo)
