Contaminated water leaked into sea from Fukushima plant
TOKYO, Japan - Supplied photo taken Dec. 4, 2011, shows a concrete crack at the bottom of a water processing facility at the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant in Fukushima Prefecture, northeastern Japan. The plant's operator, Tokyo Electric Power Co., said Dec. 6 that around 150 liters of water containing strontium and other radioactive substances had leaked from the facility and flowed into the Pacific Ocean.
