New genus, species of titanosaur found in Hyogo
KOBE, Japan - Haruo Saegusa, chief researcher at the Museum of Nature and Human Activities, Hyogo in Sanda, Hyogo Prefecture, holds fossil remains on Aug. 7, 2014, of a partial skeleton of a titanosaur dating from the Lower Cretaceous period that were unearthed in the prefecture. The dinosaur represents a new genus and species of titanosauriform sauropods. (Kyodo)
