Japan nuclear plant gets safety OK, moves closer to resumption
TOKYO, Japan - People against the possible restart of operations of the No.1 and No. 2 nuclear reactors at the Sendai nuclear plant of Kyushu Electric Power Co. rally in front of a building in Tokyo on Sept. 10, 2014, while Japan's Nuclear Regulation Authority meet there to discuss the safety of the reactors. The five-member panel approved the final version of its screening report on the reactors under the new regulations imposed following the 2011 Fukushima nuclear disaster. (Kyodo)
