Traditional theater built in 1933 reborn in central Japan

KANAZAWA, Japan - The Awazu "Embujo" traditional performing art theater at the Awazu hot-spring resort in Komatsu, Ishikawa Prefecture, is shown in its restored form on Aug. 28, 2014. The theater, built in 1933, was resurrected for the first time in some 70 years this year, helping activate the economy of the central Japan hot spring village facing the Sea of Japan. (Kyodo)
