Yamaguchi, former film star known as Li Xianglan, dies at 94
TOKYO, Japan - File photo taken in March 1954 shows Yoshiko Yamaguchi (R), a China-born Japanese singer and actress who appeared in several films under the name of Li Xianglan, and American sculptor Isamu Noguchi, who was Yamaguchi's husband at the time, upon their arrival at Tokyo's Haneda airport. Yamaguchi, who later became a House of Councillors member, died of heart failure on Sept. 7, 2014, aged 94, her office said Sept. 14. (Kyodo)
