Thousands of H.K. students boycott classes for democracy
HONG KONG, China - Thousands of students in Hong Kong attend a rally at the Chinese University of Hong Kong on Sept. 22, 2014, to kick-start a weeklong boycott of classes in the fight for democracy. According to the Federation of Students, about 13,000 students from 25 tertiary education institutions, including eight major universities, skipped classes to attend the rally in what is said to be the biggest school boycott in Hong Kong history.
