Powerful typhoon hits Japanese archipelago
TOKYO, Japan - Foreign tourists wait at Tokyo Station on Oct. 6, 2014, with their travel schedules hampered after powerful Typhoon Phanfone hit the Japanese archipelago. The season's 18th typhoon forced airline companies to cancel many flights, while bullet train runs on the Tokaido Shinkansen Line and commuter train services were partly suspended. (Kyodo)
