Thai king has gallbladder removed

BANGKOK, Thailand - Nurses and other workers at Bangkok's Siriraj Hospital have their picture taken with a portrait of Thailand's King Bhumibol Adulyadej on Oct. 6, 2014, after the king underwent surgery there to have his gallbladder removed. The 86-year-old monarch's blood pressure has returned to normal and he is receiving a saline solution intravenously, the royal palace said the same day. (Kyodo)
