'Statue-like' African birds unveiled in Kansai for 1st time
KOBE, Japan - Kobe Animal Kingdom in Kobe, Hyogo Prefecture, shows two shoebills to the press on Oct. 10, 2014, the day before their first public appearance in the western Japan region of Kansai. The bird is often referred to as "statue-like" because of its behavior of standing motionless waiting for prey. (Kyodo)
