Students build extra-small satellite to orbit Sun
KAGOSHIMA, Japan - Extra-small satellite Shin'en 2 is displayed at Kagoshima University in the city of Kagoshima, Japan, on Oct. 17, 2014. The satellite was built by students at the university and the Kyushu Institute of Technology in Kitakyushu to elliptically orbit the Sun in order to experiment on long-distance communication technologies.
