Japanese reporter pleads not guilty to defaming S. Korean president
SEOUL, South Korea - Tatsuya Kato, former chief of the Seoul bureau of the Japanese mass-circulation daily Sankei Shimbun, appears at the Seoul Central District Court in the South Korean capital on Nov. 27, 2014, for the first preliminary hearing on charges of defaming South Korean President Park Geun Hye in an article about her whereabouts during the deadly ferry disaster in April. Kato pleaded not guilty at the hearing. (Kyodo)
