Kanji of year in 2 decades exhibited in Kyoto

KYOTO, Japan - The Japan Kanji Aptitude Testing Foundation starts an exhibition of the "kanji" Japanese character representing social conditions of each year from 1995 to 2013 at Kiyomizu-dera, a Buddhist temple in Kyoto, on Dec. 1, 2014. This year's kanji will be added after its announcement on Dec. 12. (Kyodo)
