Vanilla Air 1st Japan budget carrier to sell 'air pass'

TOKYO, Japan - Vanilla Air Inc. announces on Dec. 8, 2014, the launch of monthly passes for its flight linking Narita airport near Tokyo and Amami-Oshima Island in southwestern Japan, becoming the first Japanese budget airline to adopt such an approach. The "Vaniller's Pass" will be available in limited quantities and sold on a first-come-first-served basis. (Kyodo)
