Fighters pitcher Otani attends Coming-of-Age ceremony
OSHU, Japan - Shohei Otani, a pitcher with Japanese Pacific League baseball club Nippon Ham Fighters who became the second player to sign a 100 million yen contract ahead of his third season out of high school, attends a Coming-of-Age ceremony in his hometown city of Oshu, Iwate Prefecture, on Jan. 11, 2015, a day before the Coming-of-Age national holiday. In Japan, municipal governments hold Coming-of-Age ceremonies to congratulate and encourage all those who have reached the age of 20 over the past year. (Kyodo)
