Replacing disaster-hit railway track in Iwate Pref.
NODA, Japan - Workers on Feb. 1, 2012, lay new railroad tracks in the village of Noda, Iwate Prefecture, that was damaged by the March 2011 earthquake and tsunami, as replacement work began the same day. Sanriku Railway Co. aims at fully resuming its services in April 2014. (Kyodo)
