Heart surgeon death
TOKYO, Japan - File photo taken in February 1999 shows Juro Wada, a professor emeritus at Sapporo Medical University who performed Japan's first heart transplant surgery in 1968. Wada died of pneumonia at age 88 on Feb. 14, 2011. (Kyodo)
