Japan, Australia resume FTA talks
TOKYO, Japan - Representatives of Japan (L) and Australia resume bilateral free trade negotiations at the Foreign Ministry in Tokyo on Feb. 7, 2011. The expected focal point of the negotiations, which were held for the first time in 10 months, is how far Japan would make concessions on its tariffs on sensitive farm products such as beef and dairy products, while Japan seeks to remove Australia's tariff on cars.
