Sea Shepherd member arrested for whaling ship trespass
TOKYO, Japan - The Shonan Maru No. 2, aboard which Pete Bethune, the New Zealand captain of the antiwhaling Sea Shepherd Conservation Society's vessel Ady Gil had been detained, approaches Harumi terminal at the Port of Tokyo on March 12, 2010. Bethune, who had been held since boarding the security ship of Japan's whaling fleet on Feb. 15, was arrested by the Japan Coast Guard for allegedly trespassing on the ship in the Antarctic Ocean after it docked at the terminal.
