Killer tsunami in Japan
KESENNUMA, Japan - A member of Japan's Ground Self-Defense Force carries an elderly woman on his back as he evacuates her to an elevated area in the tsunami-hit city of Kesennuma, Miyagi Prefecture, as tsunami alerts are still in effect in coastal areas, on March 12, 2011, after Japan's strongest recorded earthquake with a magnitude of 8.8 hit the country the previous day.
