Court ruling on protest near U.S. helipad construction site
NAHA, Japan - Lawyers hold up banners against a ruling in front of the Naha District Court in Naha, Okinawa Prefecture, on March 14, 2012, after the court ordered a resident in the prefecture to halt sit-ins and other protest activities aimed at blocking the construction of a U.S. military helipad, in a lawsuit the government filed against two protesters, while dismissing the claim that the other protester had obstructed the construction of the facility in the U.S. military's Northern Training Area.
