Jackson Pollock masterpiece in Tokyo
TOKYO, Japan - A visitor looks at ''Mural on Indian Red Ground,'' a work by U.S. artist Jackson Pollock (1912-1956), which belongs to the Tehran Museum of Contemporary Art, at the National Museum of Modern Art in Tokyo in February 2012. The work, on loan overseas for the first time, is part of some 70 works on display for an exhibition at the museum titled ''Jackson Pollock: A Centennial Retrospective,'' which began Feb. 10 and runs until May 6.
