Japan new recruits at full stretch

TOKYO, Japan - Fresh recruits at Japanese retailer Seven & I Holdings Co. participate in a stretching session during a welcome event in Tokyo on March 19, 2010, held prior to April 1, the start of the 2010 business year at most companies in Japan. The retailer hired 736 fresh recruits, 530 fewer than the previous year, amid the economic slump. (Kyodo)
