Bubble-era trendy hotel ends operation
TOKYO, Japan - Employees see one of the last guests off as the Grand Prince Hotel Akasaka in Tokyo wraps up about 55 years of operation on March 31, 2011. The hotel, known as a trendy spot during the asset-inflated bubble economy in the late 1980s, will be demolished after accepting evacuees affected by the March 11 quake-triggered troubles at the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear plant.
