Bubble-era trendy hotel ends operation
TOKYO, Japan - The Grand Prince Hotel Akasaka in Tokyo wraps up about 55 years of operation on March 31, 2011. The hotel, known as a trendy spot during the asset-inflated bubble economy in the late 1980s, will be demolished after accepting evacuees affected by the March 11 quake-triggered troubles at the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear plant.
