MANILA, Philippines - Japanese university student Issey Tanaka, 20, mixes cement on March 12, 2012, for an improvised volleyball net pole at a relocation site in the southern Philippine city of Cagayan de Oro which suffered massive destruction due to Tropical Storm Washi in December 2011. Tanaka initiated a campaign to do volunteer assistance work for the rehabilitation of the victims of the Philippines' worst storm in 2011 that killed more than 1,200 and injured more than 6,000 others.
