Man on hunger strike against base relocation within Okinawa
TOKYO, Japan - Atsushi Shimoji, a member of an anti-base movement who hails from Okinawa Prefecture and works in Tokyo, continues a 72-hour hunger strike near parliament house in Tokyo on April 20, 2010, to oppose the relocation within Okinawa Prefecture of the U.S. Marines Corps Futemma Air Station. Shimoji began his hunger strike at noon on April 19. (Kyodo)
