      Lonely death in temporary housing in quake-hit Japan city

      Photo taken May 28, 2024, shows temporary housing in Wajima, Ishikawa Prefecture, where a woman in her 70s died alone after moving there following the Jan. 1 deadly earthquake that hit the central Japan prefecture's Noto Peninsula area. The city said it was the first case of a lonely death in its temporary housing for people affected by the disaster.
