Japan prepares for N. Korea rocket

MIYAKOJIMA, Japan - A ground-based Patriot Advanced Capability-3 interceptor is unloaded from the Japanese Maritime Self-Defense Force's transport ship Osumi at Hirara port on Miyako Island, Okinawa Prefecture, on April 3, 2012. Japan is deploying the PAC-3 interceptors mainly in Okinawa Prefecture and Aegis-equipped destroyers carrying the sea-based Standard Missile-3 interceptors in the Sea of Japan and the East China Sea to act as a missile shield against a rocket North Korea is planning to launch later in April or its debris.
