Dumping spoiled seafood
KESENNUMA, Japan - A truck transports spoiled seafood from food processing companies to dump into the sea in Kesennuma, Miyagi Prefecture, on April 8, 2011. Some 32,000 tons of fish and seafood have been left in inactive refrigerators and freezers at around 50 local seafood companies due to power outages caused by March 11 earthquake and tsunami. (Kyodo)
