Hamaoka plant shutdown

NAGOYA, Japan - A display (top) in the head office of Chubu Electric Power Co. in Nagoya shows the output has become zero at the No. 4 reactor of the Hamaoka nuclear power station in Omaezaki, Shizuoka Prefecture, after 10 a.m. on May 13, 2011. The utility began shutting down the No. 4 reactor that day, complying with a request by the central government to suspend all the reactors at the plant. (Kyodo)
