Museum on anti-Narita airport conflict opens
NARITA, Japan - Helmets and glass grenades used by radical activists against the construction of Narita airport are displayed at the Narita Airport and Community Historical Museum in Shibayama, Chiba Prefecture, on June 22, 2011. The museum opened on June 23, introducing the violent conflicts between anti-airport protestors and the central government beginning in the 1960s. (Kyodo)
