WASHINGTON, United States - A Japanese giant salamander is unveiled to media at the National Zoo's breeding facility in the Smithsonian Institute in Washington on July 22, 2010. Japanese giant salamanders, designated as a Japanese national treasure, were sent to the United States as a gift from a zoo in Hiroshima. (Kyodo)
