Apple's Jobs resigns as CEO
NEW YORK, United States - Apple Inc. co-founder Steve Jobs speaks during a presentation in San Francisco in March 2011. The computer giant said on Aug. 24, 2011, that Jobs resigned as chief executive officer, effectively immediately, replaced by Chief Operating Officer Tim Cook. Jobs was elected chairman. (Kyodo)
