Culture festival starts in Brazil to support Japan
PETROPOLIS, Brazil - Brazilian children wave Japanese national flags in a square where a Japanese Shinto shrine gate stands in Petropolis, a suburb of Rio de Janeiro, on Aug. 6, 2011. They were attending the opening ceremony of a festival of Japanese culture to support Japan's efforts to rebuild after the March 11 disaster. The festival will run through Aug. 28. (Kyodo)
