Japan's 2nd female plane captain

OSAKA, Japan - Tomoko Mihara (C) of J-Air Corp., a Japan Airlines Corp. group airline, receives flowers during a ceremony at Osaka airport on Sept. 1, 2011, before her first flight as Japan's second-ever female commercial passenger plane captain. In commemoration, the Kumamoto airport-bound, 50-seat flight was staffed entirely by women, including a copilot, flight attendants and technicians. (Kyodo)
