Nurse acquitted of abusing elderly patients

FUKUOKA, Japan - Nurse Satomi Ueda (C) holds a banner reading ''not guilty'' at a meeting with supporters after the Fukuoka High Court in southwestern Japan acquitted her on Sept. 16, 2010. The court dismissed a lower court's conviction that she caused bleeding for two elderly patients while cutting their nails at a hospital in 2007, saying her conduct was in line with her job. (Kyodo)
