Testing of drone delivery in Yamanashi Pref.
Preparation is under way to conduct a test flight of a delivery drone in the Yamanashi Prefecture village of Kosuge on May 22, 2021, to carry a box of food to a mountainous area nearby. Industrial drone developer Aeronext Inc. is conducting a trial twice a week in June in the village where it takes 40 minutes by car to the nearest supermarket, aiming to have a working delivery service eventually.
