FY 2010 budget clears Diet

TOKYO, Japan - Japanese Prime Minister Yukio Hatoyama (C) and his Cabinet members bow after the House of Councillors Budget Committee approved a fiscal 2010 budget March 24, 2010. The record 92.3 trillion yen budget for the year starting April 1 cleared the upper house's plenary session the same day, which meant final endorsement by parliament. (Kyodo)
