TOKYO, Japan - Japanese conductor Seiji Ozawa smiles as he received the Praemium Imperiale for the field of music in Tokyo on Oct. 19, 2011. The global arts prize is awarded annually by the Japan Art Association in honor of Prince Takamatsu, an uncle of Emperor Akihito. (Kyodo)
