Myanmar's constitution-drafting National Convention resumes
NYAUNG HNA PIN, Myanmar - Myanmar's constitution-drafting National Convention, which went into recess on Jan. 31, resumed in Nyaung Hna Pin, about 60 kilometers north of Yangon on Oct. 10. Convening Commission Chairman Lt. Gen. Thein Sein (in photo) said in a speech that ''considerable'' progress has been achieved in drawing up the new constitution, of which five of the 15 chapters have so far been adopted. (Kyodo)
