Prosecutors demand 2 yrs in prison for lawyer-lawmaker Nishimura

OSAKA, Japan - Prosecutors demanded on Oct. 16 that the Osaka District Court sentence independent House of Representatives member Shingo Nishimura (in file photo) to two years in prison and fine him 1 million yen for allegedly lending his name as a lawyer for money in violation of the Lawyers Law.
