Osaka store worker stabbed to death after chasing shoplifters
OSAKA, Japan - Police officers investigate a crime scene in Neyagawa, Osaka Prefecture, where a 27-year-old part-time employee at a Seven-Eleven convenience store was fatally stabbed in the early hours of Oct. 6 by a shoplifter he chased. Two men believed to be around 18 to 20 years old fled after they were caught shoplifting and the Seven-Eleven employee, Kenji Kamiuchi, caught up with one man, who attacked him with a knife. (Kyodo)
