Chinese-made plug-in hybrid sedan debuts at Detroit motor show

DETROIT, United States - A Chinese-made plug-in hybrid sedan on display at the North American Auto Show in Detroit on Jan. 14. BYD Auto, the Chinese maker of the hybrid, said it will launch the car in China this year and is hoping to sell the sedan in the U.S. market in three to five years. A total of five Chinese automakers are taking part in the auto show. (Kyodo)
