U.S. Marines attend karate clinic in Okinawa

NAHA, Japan - U.S. Marines try to follow the moves of Yoshie Kadena (L), a world champion of Okinawa-style karate in 2008, in a clinic at a gymnasium of the U.S. Marine Corps' Camp Kinser in Urasoe, Okinawa Prefecture, on Jan. 16. The karate lesson was part of a cultural awareness seminar jointly held by the U.S. Marine Corps and the Japanese Foreign Ministry's liaison office in Okinawa. (Kyodo)
