Flu outbreak affects 99, kills 3 at Tokyo hospital
TOKYO, Japan - Kenichiro Hino, director of Tsurukawa Sanatorium Hospital in Tokyo's Machida, where a total of 99 people have contracted influenza and three have died, speaks at a news conference at the hospital on Jan. 17. The Tokyo metropolitan government's public health bureau said Jan. 17 that the outbreak began around Jan. 6 and has since affected 75 inpatients and 24 hospital workers. (Kyodo)
